Belper Open Gardens - 30th June and 1st July 2018.

This event was held for the first time in 2012, with 18 keen gardeners sharing their gardening enthusiasm, whilst raising money for local charities, with visitors from the Midlands. Since then, the event has gained in popularity and last year saw around 600 visitors come from all over the UK which not only helped promote Belper as a tourist attraction, but also helped us raise much needed funds for a number of Belper.. Great British Spring Clean





The Town Council is taking part in Keep Britain Tidy's GREAT BRITISH SPRING CLEAN.

The outdoor staff will assist with the litter picking and they will collect and dispose of the litter. Please bring your own gloves with you, bags will be supplied

Food Festival 8 July 2018

The Council will again be holding the Summer Food Festival on the 8 July 2018 in the town centre. This is a great day out and free entry for all. Local producers will be showcasing their wares. Road Closure at Buckland Hollow - 9 April 2018

Severn Trent to complete essential maintenance work on Ripley Road, Buckland Hollow, Derbyshire.

Severn Trent is to begin essential maintenance work in Buckland Hollow in Derbyshire, so that customers can enjoy a reliable water supply for years to come.

The company will begin work to repair a leak on one of its major water pipes in the area, and will require a section of Ripley Road to be closed to keep engineers and road users safe.. Read More »
