Help needed to make Woollen Flowers for Belper in Bloom

The Belper in Bloom Group need as many people as possible to knit, crochet or make out of felt, woolly flowers for the Belper in Bloom event this year. We are planning to decorate the trees that grow beside Poundland. This is a really good way to use up all those small balls of wool left over from other projects. There are lots of free patterns on the internet if you put in a search for free patterns here is just one example http://intheloopknitting.com/free-flower-knitting-patterns/

I have also written a blog with four simple knitted flower patterns www.anneclarkhandmade.co.uk

Completed flowers can be left in a box in St Peter's Church, Chesterfield Road usually open between 9.30-15.00 or contact the Town Council. The flowers are needed by the middle of June.
