The Belper Town Council Annual Awards 2022.
A huge amount of excellent work is done in Belper each year by a range of volunteers who add value to our town and community. Belper Town Council recognises this effort and presents annual civic awards under the following categories:
Youth Award; Environmental Action Award; Award for Service to the Town; Arts Award; Community Award; Sports Award and Lifetime Achievement Award.
If you know of somebody who you think deserves consideration for an award, please contact the Council at: economy@belpertowncouncil.gov.uk.
Nominations will close on Tuesday 31 January 2023.

The Town Council provides and fills some of the grit bins in the Town, along with Amber Valley Borough Council.
- King Charles III Coronation
DCC is urging Derbyshire residents organising Coronation community events to take advantage of a number of grants available from us and other sources.
From large scale gatherings to smaller get-togethers, there are grants ranging from a few hundred pounds up to £10,000 available to community groups, clubs, local charities and organisations holding celebrations.
Our Derbyshire Grants scheme has grants of up to £1,000 available for events that meet certain criteria, and as it can take up to 3 weeks to assess an application, people are being urged to make their applications as soon as possible to ensure they can be processed in time and the money released to successful groups.
