Derbyshire Carer's Association - Belper Support Group

Derbyshire Carer's Association - Belper Support Group, holds meetings at the Strutt Centre from 1.30 to 3.30 pm on the 1st Thursday of every month.
Details of activities for each meeting this year are shown below:
5th May - cup decorating with glass paint
9th June - carer's week
7th July - River Gardens or pub lunch
4th August - open session for chatting
1st September - Speaker from Derbyshire Police
6th October - air dried clay pottery
3rd November - painting the pottery
1st December - Christmas crafts

Pride in Belper 2022
Pride in Belper is proud to be back on August 6th!
Starting on Belper's Market Place at 12pm.
We are aiming for the event to be the most inclusive, diverse, sustainable and accessible yet.
Real inclusivity celebrates the rich and wonderful diversity of everyone whatever your sexuality or gender identity.
So Lets Get Back Together on Saturday 6th August 2022.
Live Music on The Memorial Gardens from 12.30 - 7pm.
Drag Queen 'Dixey' is your compere for the day.

On the Market Place you can listen to 'Ed Hulse' playing acoustic throughout the day from 11am.
At around 2pm there will be a performance from the Street Beats Samba Band which features 6 Primary Schools - a project brought together by Fleet Arts and Chris Lewis-Jones. After a break Belper Boom will play a short set.
Strutt Street Cafes, Cocoa Cafe, The Perfect Cuppa and Reunion will be creating a hub with outside seating and music from 'Just Jake' (after the Strutt has passed through Strutt Street).
The Cafe at No28, supported by donations from Morrisons, will be run by Derbyshire LGBT+ with all profits going to them.
