The public consultation of the Draft Neighbourhood Plan runs from today to Tuesday 25 November 2019.

We have now completed our reports and evidence to submit our draft Neighbourhood Plan for the 6 week public consultation.

Many organisations and community groups will be contacted directly asking them to complete the questionnaire for their comments.

Considerate Parking and Pollution

Considerate Parking and Pollution

Cllr's Fay Atkinson and Simon Mallett at St John's Church of England Primary School, promoting considerate parking and drawing attention to the pollution caused by parked cars which leave engines running during the school pick up.

The Town Councillors have been at St John's and Pottery School this week and will extend the initiative to all the schools in Belper and Milford.

St John's Carpark - Open to the Public

St John's Carpark has now officially been opened to members of the public to use. This will be for a trial period of 6 months and if no issues are to be found the full lease will be varied.

The current spaces available are 31 but 2 of these are to remain for disabled badge holders and 3 are to be allocated to the staff of Belper Town Council.
