Big Belper Clean Up

On the Saturdays of the 18th and 25th of January, your Belper Councillors will be carrying out a general clean up and litter pick along by the river. We would like to invite members of the community along to join us and help clear up some of the mess left after the floods.

We'll meet at Bridgefoot, near the Mill at 10:30.

CHRISTMAS EVE CAROL SERVICE

A candlelight procession lead by the Mayor, Councillor Simon Mallett will leave St John's Chapel at 7:45pm down to the Market Place where the Carol Service lead by Father Jonathan Page will commence at 8pm. Heage Band will accompany the carols.

The Christmas Food Festival will be held on Sunday 8th December 2019 from 10am-3pm on King Street, Strutt Street and Campbell Street. This is a free event, suitable for all ages and attracts a lot of visitors to the town. Many independent businesses will also be open on the day, this may be an ideal opportunity to do some Christmas shopping.
