Pauline Latham to pick three winners!

Mid Derbyshire MP Pauline Latham OBE will be at café 24 Belper, Saturday 17th July 11.00am, for the 'Poet-Trees' Trail Prize Draw, when she will pick out the names of three lucky winners who will each win a lovely hamper and goodie bag, both filled with vouchers and gifts donated from local Belper retailers.

The free to enter prize draw has been part of a 'Poet-Tree' installation of over 100 community poems displayed on trees at various locations around Belper Town, with the youngest contributor just 5 years old.

21 of the poems were printed onto wooden tiles and each contained a highlighted code word for visitors to collect to enter the draw. 'Poet-Tree' post boxes were placed at Ada Belfield library and the 1924 retail arcade on Campbell Street and there was an online form on the Belper Fringe website too.

A delightful printed booklet has been created, courtesy of Fleet Arts, featuring all of the poems displayed and some photographs of the event. The poems themselves will finally be donated as a permanent display to Osmaston Grange care home and Holbrook Hall residential home. The wooden Trail tiles will be on extended display at Beaurepaire gardens.
