Community Banking Education Event

HSBC are hosting a community banking education event at Belper Town Football Club on Monday 4th October. This is following the recent closure of HSBC UK Belper branch.

They recognise the impact their decision to close the branch may have on our customers and the local community and to try to minimise this, we want to ensure our customers are aware of the alternative ways to conduct their banking.

The purpose of this event is to ensure the community in Belper know how they can continue to bank with us, gain confidence in using alternative channels and to learn how to bank digitally, with confidence. They will also be running a clinic to answer any specific questions that customers may have. The day will run as below:

• 10:00 Arrival/Welcome, introduction & agenda
• 10:30 Introduction to Digital session
• 11:30 Community support – alternative ways to bank
• 12:30 Drop in Q&A/Local Director Clinic
• 14:00 Close
