Mid-land Games Event

Mid-land Games Event

Cllr Atkinson visited the Mid-land games at Kirkby in Ashfield on Thursday 25 July 2019 to offer support to the team from Whitemoor Day Centre. What an amazing event providing an athletics opportunity for adults with a learning disability to engage with sport. Thanks to the staff for their efforts to make this happen.

If you witness any anti social behaviour there is a simple way to alert the police by reporting online.

Recycling 'Ideas Exchange' - 4th July, 7pm at Strutts

Councillors will be hosting a recycling 'ideas exchange' . We would like to invite any group already doing recycling initiatives to come along plus anyone keen to talk about possibilities and gaps in the town. We have an aim to develop a comprehensive directory of what can be recycled and where, plus working on improving provision.

Larks in the Park - Sunday 2 June 2019

This Sunday sees Belper Town Wind Band start off the Larks in the Park events from 2pm until 4pm in the Memorial Gardens, King Street, Belper. This is a free event suitable for all ages. Light refreshments will be on sale
